Jean Paul Gaultier Gaultier Divine Eau de Parfum 100ml is the brand's 2023 floral-gourmand for women, composed by Givaudan perfumer Quentin Bisch. Built around a salty sea-air accord paired with creamy white florals, it pairs Calypsone (a salty marine note), pink berries and bergamot at the top with a heart of lily, jasmine and ylang-ylang, finishing on a base of meringue, patchouli and musk. The bottle is presented in the brand's signature corset-shaped flacon — a feminine reinterpretation of Gaultier's iconic male-corset design. About Jean Paul Gaultier Jean Paul Gaultier is one of France's most influential couturiers, with a career spanning runway shows, costume design and pop culture moments since 1976. His perfume line, produced in partnership with Puig, is best known for the corset-bottle Classique (1993) and the masculine Le Mâle (1995). Gaultier Divine, launched in 2023, is the brand's most recent feminine pillar — a luminous, free-spirited solar-floral. Fragrance notes Top: Calypsone (Salty Sea Breeze Accord), Pink Berries, Bergamot Heart: Lily, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang Base: Meringue, Patchouli, Musk Olfactory family: Floral Gourmand Marine | Launched: 2023 | Perfumer: Quentin Bisch (Givaudan) The story behind Gaultier Divine Gaultier Divine was conceived around the radiance of a woman's body warmed by sun and sea — luminous, unforced, joyful. The salty Calypsone note at the top gives the fragrance an unexpected oceanic facet that lifts the white florals; the meringue note in the base ties the composition into the contemporary "soft sweet" gourmand-floral genre popularised by fragrances such as Yves Saint Laurent Libre and Carolina Herrera Good Girl Glow. The new corset-shaped flacon is a deliberate, pared-back evolution of the iconic Gaultier perfumery silhouette. Who it's for Gaultier Divine suits women drawn to luminous solar florals with a slightly sweet, modern character — wearers of fragrances like Rabanne Fame, Yves Saint Laurent Libre, or Carolina Herrera Good Girl Glow, who want a contemporary alternative. Best across spring, autumn and warm-summer evenings; well suited to date nights, parties and evenings out where a memorable trail matters more than discretion. How to wear it Spray onto pulse points — wrists, base of the throat, behind the ears — from around 15cm. Two to three sprays for daytime; build up gently for longer evening wear. Mist lightly through the ends of the hair for a soft trail without overloading the skin.
