Applying the preservative to cut ends and drilled areas helps ensure that newly exposed timber does not remain untreated and helps maintain the protection provided by the original timber treatment process.Supplied in a convenient 500g bottle, this cut treatment preservative is essential for use when modifying treated timber products. Applying it correctly helps maintain the timber's protective treatment and ensures the 25-year Jakcure® Guarantee remains valid, subject to the applicable guarantee terms and conditions. The treatment can cause slight staining, so care should be taken to apply it only to exposed cut ends or drilled holes rather than surrounding timber surfaces. For example, it can be applied to holes drilled for field gate hinges in gate posts, helping protect the newly exposed timber within the drilled area.Handcrafted in Kent by experienced timber experts, Jakcured Cut Treatment Preservative is an important maintenance accessory for preserving the protection and longevity of treated timber following cutting or drilling.Key Features Pack size: 500g bottle Specialist preservative for treated timber Designed for use after cutting or drilling timber products Helps protect newly exposed cut timber Helps maintain the 25-year Jakcure® Guarantee Suitable for cut ends and drilled holes Apply only to exposed cut areas or drilled holes Can be used inside holes drilled for fittings such as field gate hinges May cause slight staining, so careful application is recommended Important for maintaining treated timber protection after modification Suitable for a range of Jakcure® treated timber products Handcrafted in Kent by experienced timber experts
