The monthly service kit is specifically crafted for the Interpet PF range of filters, ensuring your aquarium maintains a pristine, healthy environment. This comprehensive pack contains three service kits, each meticulously designed to support the filtration efficiency of your aquarium. The kit includes the essential bonded sponge and carbon pad, vital components for capturing debris and eliminating impurities from your aquarium water. Replacing the filter floss and carbon pad on a monthly basis is crucial as the filter floss can become clogged with trapped materials, while the carbon's ability to adsorb toxins becomes exhausted over time. Regular replacement is imperative to maintain optimal water quality, ensuring a healthy aquatic ecosystem. To use the service kit, start by performing a 25% water change, using a dechlorinator to treat tap water. Then disconnect the power, remove the PF head, and replace the old floss and carbon pad with the new ones from the service pack.
