About this item NRR 29 dB, THE HIGHEST ATTENUATION IN THE L-LINE: Independently tested to ANSI S3.19-1974 with a Noise Reduction Rating of 29 dB and SNR 32.6 dB under EN 352-1:2002 (H 31.3 / M 32.2 / L 25.8). Mean attenuation tops 40 dB at 1000 Hz and 41 dB at 4000 Hz, cutting firearm report, impact tools and machinery noise exactly where hearing damage happens. HIGH-DENSITY ABS CUPS BUILT FOR LOW-FREQUENCY NOISE: At 302 g the L-360 carries real mass in the shell, and mass is what stops low frequencies. The deep foam-filled ABS cup holds its attenuation against compressors, generators, diesel engines, mowers and heavy plant, the range where thin lightweight muffs give up. Rated for extreme-noise work where a 22 to 26 dB muff is not enough. THREE-AXIS FIT, NOT ONE-SIZE GUESSWORK: A double lateral anchor on each cup lets the muff pivot for height, rotation and angle, spreading clamping pressure evenly around the ear instead of pinching one spot, and multi-point height adjustment on the headband fits nearly any adult head. Note: the muffs ship fully collapsed, so slide both cups to the lowest position first, seat them over your ears, then adjust upward. ACETAL RESIN HEADBAND THAT KEEPS ITS CLAMP: The flexible acetal harness has elastic memory, so it returns to shape instead of stretching out and going loose after a few months. That is what keeps the seal, and the seal is what delivers the rated 29 dB, on month twelve as much as on day one. WIDE PVC CUSHIONS THAT SIT AROUND THE EAR: The padded PVC-covered cushions seal on the head, not on the ear itself, which is what makes three, six and eight hour stretches bearable. Combined with the balanced double-anchor pressure, the L-360 stays wearable through a full shift instead of forcing you to pull it off every hour. REMOVABLE, WASHABLE CUSHIONS AND A BELT CLIP HOLSTER: Cushions pop off and clean with mild soap and water, so a shared or sweaty muff gets refreshed instead of replaced. The included belt clip holster carries the muffs on your waist between tasks, so they are on you when the noise starts instead of back in the truck.
