IBC020F This kit contains: 1 x IBC 2" S60X6 Thread Valve with Solid Cap (IBCS60X6VALVE) 1 x IBC S60X6 Adapter to 1" Male Camlock (CAM-IBCS60X6-1) 1 x Camlock Type C 1" (CAMTC1) The IBC 2" S60X6 Thread Valve with Solid Cap is a reliable and essential component designed for intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). Constructed from high-quality, durable plastic, this valve ensures a long-lasting performance even under demanding conditions. The 2" S60X6 threading provides a secure and leak-proof connection, making it ideal for controlling the flow of liquids from your IBC. This valve's robust build offers excellent resistance to UV rays, ensuring that it remains effective in various industrial environments. One of the key features of this IBC valve is the inclusion of a solid cap. The cap plays a crucial role in preventing contamination by sealing the valve when it is not in use. This is particularly beneficial in industries where maintaining the purity of the contents is critical, such as in food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical storage. By securely capping the valve, the risk of dirt, dust, and other contaminants entering the container is significantly reduced, ensuring that the contents remain uncontaminated and safe for use. The IBC S60x6 Adapter to Male Camlock is a highly efficient and robust solution designed for fluid transfer and connection needs. Constructed from strong, durable plastic, this adapter ensures a reliable and long-lasting performance even under challenging conditions. The plastic material is not only resilient but also lightweight, making it easier to handle and install compared to metal counterparts. Featuring a standard S60x6 thread on one end and a male camlock fitting on the other, this adapter provides a secure and leak-proof connection between Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and various hose or pipe systems. The S60x6 thread ensures compatibility with most IBCs, while the male camlock design allows for quick and convenient coupling with camlock-equipped hoses or equipment. This versatility makes it an invaluable tool in industries such as agriculture, chemical handling, and water management. The adapter's durable plastic construction is designed to withstand exposure to various chemicals and environmental conditions, providing peace of mind and reliability. Its precision-engineered threads and camlock mechanism ensure a snug fit and efficient flow control, reducing the risk of leaks and spills. Whether used in industrial applications or for personal projects, the IBC S60x6 Adapter to Male Camlock is a dependable choice for secure and effective fluid management. Camlock fittings, also known as cam and groove couplings, are quick-connect hose couplings used to rapidly connect and disconnect hoses or pipes in a variety of fluid transfer applications. They consist of two main components: a male adapter and a female coupler. The male adapter has a groove-ring (hence the name "cam and groove") around its circumference, while the female coupler has cam arms that, when pulled back, allow the male adapter to be inserted. When the cam arms are released, they lock into place, creating a secure connection. Camlock fittings are popular in industries such as agriculture, petroleum, chemical, and food processing, where frequent connections and disconnections are required without compromising safety or efficiency. Camlock fittings can come in a variety of materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, brass and polypropylene. These camlock fittings are made of PP, please check this is a suitable material for your intended use. Camlock fittings offer several benefits, which contribute to their widespread use in various industries: Quick and Easy Connection: Camlock fittings allow for rapid connection and disconnection of hoses or pipes, saving time during setup and teardown processes. This feature is particularly advantageous in applications where frequent changes or maintenance are necessary. Secure Sealing: When properly connected, camlock fittings create a tight seal that prevents leaks, reducing the risk of spills and contamination. This sealing capability is crucial in applications where fluid integrity and safety are paramount. Interchangeability: Camlock fittings are designed to be interchangeable within their respective sizes and types. This interchangeability facilitates compatibility between different systems and components, offering flexibility and convenience in equipment setup and maintenance. Please note, PTFE Tape may be required to create a watertight connection and reduce leaking on the thread. PTFE Tape sold separately.
