If it is a water resistant concealer, it is the best option because it will prevent the concealer from unseating itself due to tears, sweat or humidity and prevent cakeyness. The concealer should not contain animal ingredients or harsh chemicals as that damages your skin - especially the delicate skin around your eyes - over a long time of application. How else do I use my concealer?Creating a base for your eyeshadow and liner by blending in a little bit of sweat proof concealer on both eyelids can really make your eye makeup pop and stand out. Blending some concealer with your glossy or gel lipstick will give you a lighter shade of the same lipstick in case you feel like the shade is too deep for your liking. You can also use waterproof concealer in a shade darker than your skin tone to mimic a bronzer or contour stick to give your face a sharper look. Can concealer be bad for you?If your concealer is vegan, not expired and does not contain any suspicious ingredients, it generally should not be bad for you. However, take care to use a limited quantity of concealer and not cake it on too much. Too much of even the best waterproof concealer can clog your pores and also give you a very ashen look under your eyes which looks very artificial under strong lights.
