The Hozelock Ecopower 4000 with UVC 8W is a sophisticated pond filtration system designed to maintain crystal-clear water. Combining the power of UV light with both mechanical and biological filtration, it efficiently removes impurities and biological contaminants from your pond environment. The filtration process begins as water enters the unit through a stepped hose connector, passing into the UV chamber equipped with a turbulator to optimise exposure to the UV light. This process clumps green water algae, which is further aerated through a venturi system. The water then moves through high-quality foam filters and biological media, offering a large surface area for beneficial bacterial colonies that break down nitrates and other pollutants. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the innovative viewing hatch, allowing you to monitor the condition of the media and detect any potential issues swiftly. Key Features: Integrated Ultra Violet Clarifier for clear water. Convenient viewing hatch for easy maintenance checks. Efficient aeration through a venturi system. Capability for partial burial to blend with garden design. Includes high-quality mechanical filter foams and biological media.
