Club: Glasgow Celtic Year: 2005/06 Brand: Nike Jersey Type: Home Size: XL Player Name: Roy Keane 16 Chest length (cm): 60 Shirt length (cm): 80 Condition: 9/10 History: Celtic’s 2005/06 season was a strong domestic campaign under manager Gordon Strachan. They won the Scottish Premier League & League Cup double, securing the league title with consistent performances and dominant attacking displays. Key players included Shunsuke Nakamura, Scott McDonald, Stiliyan Petrov, and Artur Boruc, who provided goals, creativity, and defensive solidity. In Europe, they competed in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round but failed to make the group stage phase. The season reinforced Celtic’s domestic dominance and highlighted their squad depth and resilience. Roy Keane joined Celtic in Dec 2005 on a free, after leaving Manchester United by contract termination. At 34, he was nearing the end of his playing career but brought immense experience, leadership, and winning mentality to the Scottish champions. Manager Gordon Strachan signed him to strengthen the midfield and mentor younger players. His Celtic stay would be brief as Keane annouced his retirement after the 2005/06 campaign.
