Giganterra Coco Brick Husk Chips provide a natural and efficient substrate solution, made from coconut chips. This organic material is crafted from the external fibrous shell of coconuts, making it perfect for creating a habitat that closely mimics natural environments for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Whether your pet's habitat is wet, semi-wet, or dry, this substrate is versatile and offers a natural way to manage germs and reduce the risk of mould. The use of these coco brick husk chips enhances the living space for burrowing species, allowing them to create tunnels naturally. For tropical species, the substrate can be moistened to maintain the necessary humidity levels, which should be regulated by daily spraying. Additionally, the coconut chips retain odours, although daily cleaning is advised to maintain hygiene. It is recommended that the substrate be completely replaced every six months to ensure the best conditions for your pet. Each compact brick is designed to expand to seven times its original size when submerged in water, offering excellent value and convenience. The product can be mixed with Gigacoco coconut fibre for an aesthetic that closely resembles natural habitats.
