Check out the ethereal look of these "Galaxy" Jadeite Jade earrings with .925 Sterling Silver latch hooks — like wearing a piece of the night sky. Each piece is hand-cut from a single slice of Guatemalan jadeite, a stone celebrated for its beauty, depth, and cultural heritage. The "Galaxy" color displays golden pyrite inclusions suspended in jet black jadeite with light streaks — a rare natural effect that gives the stone a starry, galactic presence. Its tight crystal structure and polished pyrite allow light to bounce off these inclusions, creating quick flashes like sparkling stars.Shaped and polished entirely by hand in our small Ohio workshop using traditional lapidary methods. The jade is respectfully gathered from the Motagua River Valley — the same region where ancient Maya artisans once carved their jade masterpieces. No heavy machinery, no modern extraction — just careful hand-collection, patience, and intention. Every contour, bevel, and polish is done slowly by hand, giving each piece its soft, organic flow.Whether worn daily or saved for meaningful occasions, these earrings carry a quiet presence and refined natural beauty. Each one is handmade — and no two are ever the same.DETAILS Stone Size: 65mm x 29mm x 1.8mm Total Size: 82mm (top of hook to bottom of stone) Material: Solid Guatemalan "Galaxy" Jadeite Jade Hardware: .925 Sterling Silver latch hooks Finish: Hand-cut and hand-polished freeform shape
