The Footprint Brick Bolster With Guard is a professional masonry tool designed for bricklayers and builders who demand durability and precision when cutting brick. Made in the UK and drop-hammer forged from head to blade, it provides reliable performance on busy sites. 14-stage manufacturing process: Starts from a high-quality carbon steel bar and undergoes 14 precise steps to ensure consistency, strength, and long-term performance. Drop Hammer Forged from head to blade: Creates a solid, grain-structure throughout the bolster for superior overall strength and durability. Hardened and tempered blade: Delivers extended cutting life and resistance to wear during frequent brickwork. Domed head: Reduces mushrooming and splintering after repeated use and helps keep the optional hand guard securely in place on the handle. Tapered neck: Minimises the risk of snapping at the weakest point, improving reliability on tough cuts. 4.5” blade with strengthening ribs: Additional ribs along the sides and centre provide rigidity when cutting larger bricks and blocks. Optional EVA plastic hand guard: Protects the hand from glanced blows and can be added for extra safety on site. BS 3066 compliance: Manufactured to a stringent UK standard for masonry tools. Made in the UK: Proudly produced domestically for trusted quality and support. In practice, this bolster helps you achieve cleaner, more accurate cuts with less effort. The 4.5" blade offers solid bite on larger bricks and blocks, while the reinforced ribs reduce flex for steadier takes. The domed head mitigates edge mushrooming and splintering, and the optional EVA hand guard adds a layer of protection on fast-paced sites. With its UK heritage and rigorous 14-stage manufacturing process, the Footprint Brick Bolster With Guard is a durable, reliable choice for professionals who cut brick day in, day out.
