High-Volume Flow on an Efficient 1/2 HP Motor The Flint & Walling 15 GPM Commander Plus stainless steel pump end delivers a high 15 gallon per minute output on a compact 1/2 HP motor, taking advantage of a strong, shallow well to move more water without paying for horsepower the application does not need. It is the entry point into the 15 GPM tier of this pump end family. Efficient Staging for High-Yield, Shallow Wells Stainless steel shell, cable guard, and hex drive shaft resist corrosion the same as every pump end in this line, while Noryl impellers and diffusers are staged to move a higher volume per revolution efficiently at the lower 1/2 HP output. This keeps energy draw down on wells where recovery, not pressure, is the priority. Specification Value Flow Rate 15 GPM Motor 1/2 HP Discharge 1-1/4" NPT Housing Material Stainless Steel Well Diameter 4" minimum Impellers Noryl Warranty 1 year limited How to Use Match with a 1/2 HP, 4-inch Flint & Walling submersible motor. This pairing works best on shallow, high-recovery wells; confirm recovery of 15 GPM or better and a shallow set depth before choosing this pump end over a higher-horsepower option in the same flow class. Ideal for shallow wells with excellent recovery, where 15 GPM of flow is available without needing extra head pressure to reach the house.
