What is Annealing & Why is it Necessary? Plastic products are placed in a heated liquid medium or hot air circulation box at a constant temperature for a period of time, and then slowly cooled to room temperature, using heat to accelerate the relaxation of macromolecules in the plastic, thus eliminating or reducing the residual stresses in the products after molding. Eliminate the local stress concentration phenomenon produced by different cooling speeds during the cooling and curing process of plastic products. That's what the FilaDryer E2 delivers — a professional-grade 2-in-1 annealing and drying solution specifically designed for Engineering Materials. How to Anneal? Select the Temperature: Determine the right temperature based on the material. Control Heating Rate: Ensure the part is evenly heated. Maintain a Constant Temperature: Adjust the duration according to the size and material. Manage Cooling: Allow for gradual cooling or use controlled cooling for the best results. Tips for Successful Annealing! Precise temperature control is essential to avoid overheating. Test with small models first to reduce trial-and-error costs. Allow for shrinkage, and adjust your design accordingly. No More Worries about Safety? Intelligent protection system, an alarm beep will sound if the temperature exceeds the preset value by 10°C or the machine continues to work improperly. Temperature control, over-temperature will be disconnected, cooling will be restored. Double-layer heat insulation, when the internal temperature is >100℃, the external touch temperature is only <60℃. All-round protection of the machine and personal safety by fireproof grade materials. More Durable FilaDryer The internal details are newly optimized and upgraded to significantly increase the service life of the machine. New motherboard cooling fan, metal ball, temperature resistance is further improved. The new cover effectively prevents foreign objects from falling and damaging the air ducts. More Features Fully Sealed Protection Excellent Airtightness with super insulation effect. One-piece silicone plug over the line hole Prevent Secondary Moisture The cover plate is equipped with sealing silicone strips, to isolate the outside water vapor into the chamber. Effective Heat and Moisture Insulation The all-round dual-chamber design at the top, middle and bottom realizes the heating temperature exceeding 100°C. Combined with the innovative closure system, the annealing process is more perfect, solving the two needs of annealing and drying in one machine.
