EXPEDITION Plus Ultra Deep Cycle GEL 12 V 110 Ah Battery (EXP12‑110C) The Expedition Plus 110 Ah battery is a lead‑carbon GEL deep‑cycle battery designed for tough leisure and off‑grid duty. It combines traditional lead‑acid construction with functional activated carbon and graphene in the negative plate to increase cycle life and allow quick charging. This DC‑C series battery can achieve a life of 1 500 cycles or more at 50 % depth of discharge, offering a long service life for campervans, marine craft and renewable systems. Scientists discovered that adding carbon to the GEL chemistry reduces crystallisation and improves rechargeability. Because of this technology, the battery can re‑charge between four and ten times faster than a conventional lead‑acid battery. Features High‑purity lead‑carbon GEL technology for deep‑cycle applications. Sealed, unspillable and maintenance‑free construction. Resilient to partial state‑of‑charge operation (reduces sulphation). Quick charging capability and high energy density. Rated for up to 1 500 cycles at 50 % depth of discharge. Bolt‑through terminals (Type 2) with positive terminal on the left. 5‑year manufacturing defect warranty. Technical specifications Specification Value Model EXP12‑110C Voltage 12 V Technology Lead‑carbon GEL Capacity (C20) 110 Ah Recharge cycles 1 500 cycles at 50 % DoD Dimensions (L×W×H) 330 × 172 × 222 mm Weight 29 kg Ideal charge voltage 14.2–14.4 V Top‑up charge voltage 13.6–13.8 V Terminal layout Positive on left (Layout 1) Terminal type Bolt‑through (Type 2) Warranty 5 years This battery is suitable for use with motor movers and wild camping and is designed to be maintenance‑free. Because of the lead‑carbon GEL chemistry it is heavier than some leisure batteries, but its long cycle life and rapid charging capability make it a strong choice for demanding off‑grid applications.
