Recumbent bikes are renowned for their comfort and the Dyaco Medical Rehabilitation Recumbent Bike 7.0R is no exception. Not only does the seat have 8 horizontal adjustments to guarantee correct hip to pedal distance, the back rest has 6 recline positions to provide perfect lumbar support. However what makes the Dyaco Medical 7.0R ideal for patients with poor mobility is the low step through frame and a seat that swivels to allow for easy access and exiting from the machine. The swivel feature also helps the therapist to put the patient in proper alignment. The pedals can be moved along the crank to accommodate range of motion as small as 15 degrees. Smaller degrees render smaller circular lower body motions, so that patients can complete a full 360 degree stroke during rehabilitation / physical therapy. Because the seat and pedal adjustments are numbered patients can document their bike set up, making it easy to duplicate their riding position next time. Another unique feature of the Dyaco MED 7.0R is the consoles software that helps you position the patient correctly in the seat. By feeding in the height of the patient and their maximum and minimum knee flexion, the console will give you the correct seat and pedal crank position. The large bright LED windows are easy for patients and clinicians to view important workout data at a glance. Patients and clinicians can quickly see essential, real-time performance feedback. Real-time streaming of patients’ data is also available for clinicians to download. Windows display time, rotations per minute, watts, calories, METs, heart rate, and power. The 0- 50 levels of pedal resistance can be engaged in both forward and reverse to measure imbalance in quads and hamstrings and in addition the console will show Pedal Symmetry which shows the power generated by the right and left leg in watts. The 7.0R Rehabilitation Bike prioritises patient comfort and delivers highly effective therapy for recovery, making it an essential tool for physical rehabilitation.
