Dunhill Desire Eau de Toilette 150ml is the brand's signature 2000 men's woody-oriental, composed by Michel Almairac and presented in the line's recognisable ruby-red flacon. The composition opens with apple, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom; a heart of rose, teak wood and patchouli adds warmth and structure; and a base of vanilla and musk leaves a soft, slightly powdery close. The 150ml format is the largest of the line's bottles — generous enough for daily home use over an extended period. About Dunhill Alfred Dunhill is a British luxury house founded in 1893, internationally known for its menswear, luxury leather goods and accessories. The brand entered fragrance in 1934 with Dunhill for Men, and has built a long-running men's perfumery line organised around classical, polished compositions. Desire — launched in 2000 — was conceived as the brand's modern oriental men's pillar. Fragrance notes Top: Apple, Lemon, Bergamot, Orange Blossom Heart: Rose, Teak Wood, Patchouli Base: Vanilla, Musk Olfactory family: Woody Oriental | Launched: 2000 | Perfumer: Michel Almairac The story behind Desire Desire was conceived as a classical men's woody-oriental for the new millennium — bold, slightly fruity at the top, but firmly anchored in teak, patchouli and rose. The ruby-red glass flacon has remained the line's recognisable visual identity for more than two decades, and Desire continues as the brand's signature men's fragrance with several flankers (Desire Extreme, Desire Red). Who it's for Desire suits men drawn to classical woody-oriental fragrances with a fruit-and-floral lift — wearers of Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme, Bvlgari Man Black, or Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, who appreciate confident, characterful compositions. Best in autumn and winter, ideal for evening, dinner and date contexts. How to wear it Spray onto pulse points — chest, sides of the neck, inside of the wrists — from around 15cm. Two to three sprays for daytime; build up gently for longer evening wear. Apply over an unscented body lotion to extend longevity, particularly on dry skin.
