Make your newest craft project—art dolls! The designs in this book make adorable pins and decorative accents. In no time, using the doll patterns inside, you'll be able to create: *An angel doll, which make a lovely hanging decoration *Domino doll, which is crafted from old dominos and popsicle sticks *Flower fairy doll, which gets her shape from a household funnel *And many more! Each pattern has detailed instructions and helpful tips from author Gail Ellspermann. You can expect to find useful information such as the finished size, so that you know what the height of the project will be; a basic materials list so that you can plan ahead and gather the recommended items before starting your project; helpful tips, such as when to shrink plastic and how to draw eyes on a face; and so much more. Gail recommends working with shrinkable plastic throughout Divine Divas. She offers useful guidance on working with this medium, such as how to shrink it, how to prepare and sand it, and how to trim the plastic. You can also decorate it using crafter's ink, chalk, pastels, or colored pencils. Krylon fixative is also recommended for doll projects, as it prevent your finished craft item from smearing. It is the final finishing step that will perfect your art doll.
