What is Pond Sludge and Why It Matters Sludge accumulation is one of the most common problems pond owners face. Over time, decomposing leaves, fish waste, and organic matter settle at the bottom, creating a thick layer that depletes oxygen and clouds your water. This buildup accelerates algae growth and stresses fish populations. How CrystalClear SludgeShock Works Enzymatic Breakdown SludgeShock contains specialized enzymes that target organic sludge at the molecular level, converting it into manageable particles that beneficial bacteria can process more efficiently. Bacterial Enhancement The formula promotes the growth of aerobic bacteria that naturally consume organic waste, creating a self-sustaining cleanup cycle in your pond. Oxygen Restoration By reducing sludge volume, the product allows better water circulation and oxygen distribution throughout your pond ecosystem. When to Use SludgeShock Apply during spring startup to address winter debris, or whenever you notice murky water, foul odors, or excessive algae. Most pond owners see visible improvement within 2-4 weeks of consistent treatment.
