Cloverleaf Absolute Repti‐Vet Snake Mite Treatment is a prescription-strength oral solution developed to treat snake mite infestations efficiently with a single dose. Formulated with 2.5 mg of afoxolaner, it works systemically by circulating through the snake’s bloodstream and tissues, remaining active for up to 30 days to target parasites. After administration, it helps eliminate infestations of Ophionyssus natricis, a common mite species found in captive snakes. The solution is supplied in a sealed vial to maintain stability and reduce the risk of contamination. It can be administered by injecting into thawed prey, offering a practical and low-stress approach to treatment. By acting internally, this treatment helps address parasites that may contribute to irritation, stress, anaemia, and associated health risks. A single 10 ml vial is suitable for treating large combined body weights, making it a practical option for multiple snakes or larger collections.
