CEMB DWA1100 8-Sensor CCD Wireless Wheel Alignment System The DWA1100 is the base of a platform rather than a sealed product, and that is the practical reason to choose it. The same aligner is the measuring core of CEMB's wheel-stand package and of its ADAS calibration package. Buy the measuring system now, and the capability you cannot justify yet — aligning without a rack, or calibrating driver-assistance sensors — is an addition later rather than a second machine and a written-off first one. On its own it is a complete eight-sensor CCD wireless aligner for cars and light trucks, supplied with its cabinet, computer, monitor and printer. Eight Sensors, No Cables Eight CCD sensors across four heads capture the full four-wheel geometry, so every angle is measured rather than inferred from the two that were. The heads talk to the console wirelessly. The gain from that is mostly in setup, which is where alignment time actually goes. There are no cords to run around the vehicle before the first reading and none to gather up afterwards, no cable to route around an open door or a lift arm, and nothing physically tethering the technician to one side of the car while the readings settle. Over a day of short jobs, setup time is the number that decides how many alignments fit into the schedule. The Upgrade Path Is the Point Most shops adding alignment do it in stages, and equipment that assumes otherwise gets replaced. This system is designed to be extended: a wheel stand kit lets it work over a two-post lift instead of requiring a dedicated alignment rack, and an ADAS calibration package uses the same sensors to position a calibration panel against the vehicle's measured thrust angle. The commercial logic matters more than the feature list. It means the decision in front of you now is only "do I want to measure alignment" — not "do I also want to commit to a rack, and to driver-assistance work, today". Those decisions get made later against real job counts instead of a forecast, and none of them strand the money you spend now. Ask us what a given upgrade involves before you buy if you already know where you are heading; the answer sometimes changes which package to start from. Software Written to Be Handed to Anyone The software is ARGOS-inspired, runs on Windows, and guides the operator through the sequence step by step. That is a staffing feature as much as a technical one. Alignment is frequently the job that gets moved to whoever is free, and a system that requires a specialist is a system that sits idle when the specialist is on holiday or has left. Vehicle selection uses a model ranking system rather than a flat alphabetical list, so the vehicles you see most come up first. The database covers cars and light trucks and is maintained on an ongoing basis. Light Enough to Be Moved At 335 lbs (152 kg) shipping weight, this is by a wide margin the lightest system in the CEMB alignment range we stock — the wheel-stand package is more than twice it. For a shop with one good bay and a lot of demands on it, that is the difference between a machine that lives in a corner permanently and a console that can be repositioned when the bay is needed for something else. Will It Fit, and What Else Do You Need Power is 110 V, single phase; an ordinary shop circuit is enough. The wheel clamps cover rims from 12″ to 24.5″, which spans essentially all passenger-car and light-truck fitment. Be clear about one thing before you order: this is the aligner, not the surface it works on. On its own it needs an alignment rack, or a two-post lift together with the wheel stand kit, to hold the vehicle with the wheels free to settle. If you do not already have one of those, the stand kit is the version of this system to be looking at, and we would rather tell you that now than after the crate arrives. Whichever route you take, the floor should be flat and level across the whole measuring area — checking your bay is the buyer's responsibility, and we are happy to go through it with you first. Perfect For Shops that already own an alignment rack and are replacing an ageing or cable-tethered aligner on it. Repair shops planning in stages, wanting the measuring system now and the stands or ADAS capability later. General service shops where alignment is done by whoever is free rather than by one specialist. Second-system buyers needing overflow capacity that does not permanently occupy a bay. What's in the Box Supplied: the cabinet and computer, printer and monitor, the eight-sensor CCD wireless heads with their wheel clamps, and two sets of grippers for dually wheels — eight in total, part 46DWA7510. Wheel stands and the ADAS calibration kit are separate packages and are not included with this system. Specifications Model DWA1100 Sensors eight CCD, wireless Wheel clamp range 12″ – 24.5″ Power supply 110 V, single phase Shipping weight 335 lbs (152 kg) Certification, Stated Plainly The data we hold for this system — the manufacturer's overview, the feature list and the specification table — does not state a third-party safety listing or an independent conformity assessment. We are not going to imply one, and we would rather you heard that from us than discovered it during a procurement review. It is only a problem for buyers who have to prove it to someone else: insurers writing a shop policy, fleet and public-sector purchasing offices, and some local inspectors ask for evidence that equipment was assessed by an outside body rather than declared conforming by its own manufacturer. If that is your position, send us the exact wording of the requirement before you order and we will take it to the manufacturer in writing. Shipping and Delivery This system ships by freight to the lower 48. This item ships free, so there is nothing to add at checkout. Decide before you order how the crate is coming off the truck. The driver brings the shipment to you; unloading it is the receiver's responsibility. Most shops take a machine of this weight off with a forklift. If you do not have one, choose terminal pickup instead and collect it with suitable equipment. Residential delivery is available and carries a residential fee, which is calculated at checkout when you select it. Whichever you choose, inspect the crate before you sign anything. Walk the pallet, photograph crushed corners, punctures or a shifted load, and write the damage onto the bill of lading in words. A clean signature is a statement that the shipment arrived intact, and a concealed-damage claim is far harder to win afterwards. Call, text or chat with us if something looks wrong and we will open the claim alongside you. Warranty This system carries the manufacturer's warranty. We have deliberately not restated its term or its covered components in this description, because the warranty document supplied with the machine is the governing text and it is the one any claim is settled against. Ask us and we will send you the current document before you order. One practical warning that applies to every machine we sell: do not take a suspect component apart before a claim is open. Manufacturers routinely decline warranty on assemblies that have already been disassembled, because a stripped part can no longer be inspected for the cause of the failure. Photograph the fault, write down what the machine was doing when it happened, and call us first.
