Open-roll design. Budget-friendly version of the Maui model. The California Manual Retractable Awning delivers dependable shade and long-lasting materials at an accessible price point. It’s built for customers who want the proven performance of the Maui series in a simpler, open-roll design that fits patios, balconies, storefronts, cafés, and multi-family buildings. Even as the most affordable model in our retractable line, the California maintains the same quality where it matters most. The medium-duty steel and aluminum frame is built to last, and the awning features 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric that outperforms polyester alternatives in UV protection, color retention, and weather resistance. Every unit is made to order and ships fully assembled within five business days, making installation fast, predictable, and frustration-free. And when you want a style refresh down the road, the fabric is fully replaceable. The California is the right balance of simplicity, durability, and value — giving you reliable shade without unnecessary extras.
