Cacharel Amor Amor Eau de Toilette is a 100ml fruity-floral fragrance for women — a vibrant, romantic signature scent that has been a long-running staple of the Cacharel collection since its launch in 2003. Bright citruses, soft florals and a warm, slightly gourmand base make it instantly recognisable, while the signature red flacon has become an icon in its own right. About Cacharel Amor Amor Cacharel is the Parisian fashion and fragrance house with a long heritage in romantic feminine perfumery, including Anaïs Anaïs and Noa. Amor Amor was created by celebrated perfumers Laurent Bruyère and Dominique Ropion, and was conceived as a love-at-first-spray scent — youthful, playful and unapologetically romantic. The name (Spanish for "love love") sets the tone for the fragrance's joyful, slightly flirty character. Fragrance notes Top: orange, mandarin, blackcurrant, grapefruit, bergamot, cassia Heart: jasmine, apricot, rose, lily of the valley, lily Base: musk, amber, vanilla, tonka bean, Virginia cedar How it wears Amor Amor opens with a sparkling rush of citruses — orange, mandarin, grapefruit and a touch of tart blackcurrant — that gives the fragrance its instantly cheerful character. The heart settles into a soft floral bouquet of jasmine, rose and lily of the valley, lifted by a hint of apricot for warmth. The dry-down is where the fragrance becomes truly cosy: vanilla, tonka bean and amber wrap the florals in a soft, slightly gourmand glow, with musk and Virginia cedar grounding the composition. Who it's for This is a fragrance for women who love romantic, easy-to-wear perfumery — wearers who enjoy fruity-floral signatures, want a scent that feels playful and uplifting, or are looking for a first "grown-up" eau de toilette. Its long-running popularity makes it a particularly safe gift choice, and the recognisable red bottle adds to its appeal as a present. How and when to wear it Amor Amor is a true daytime, year-round fragrance and is equally at home for work, weekends, casual evenings and dates. Spray onto pulse points — wrists, the inside of the elbows and the base of the throat — and avoid rubbing the wrists together so the citrus opening can develop. A light spritz on a scarf or hair is a lovely way to keep the fragrance close as the day goes on.
