Bvlgari Man Wood Essence Eau de Parfum 150ml is a clean, contemporary woody-aromatic men's fragrance launched in 2018, composed by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. The composition is built around a transparent woods accord — cypress, cedar and vetiver in the heart, supported by a soft benzoin base — with a citrusy, slightly sugary opening of lemon zest, citruses and coriander leaf. The 150ml format makes it a generous flacon for everyday wear at home. About Bvlgari Bvlgari was founded in Rome in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirios Voulgaris and grew into one of the world's most distinctive luxury jewellery houses. The brand's perfumery line — launched in 1992 with Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert — extends the same mix of Italian craft and Mediterranean elegance into fragrance. Wood Essence sits within Bvlgari's expanding men's collection alongside the original Bvlgari Man, Man In Black, Glacial Essence and the Bvlgari Le Gemme line. Fragrance notes Top: Citruses, Lemon Zest, Coriander Leaf Heart: Cypress, Cedar, Vetiver Base: Benzoin Olfactory family: Woody Aromatic | Launched: 2018 | Perfumer: Alberto Morillas The story behind Wood Essence Alberto Morillas conceived Wood Essence as the "green" counterpart to Bvlgari's existing Man series — clean, transparent, almost forest-air in character — rather than another classical heavy oriental. The cypress at the heart anchors the composition, while cedar and vetiver give it a soft, slightly mineral quality. The bottle silhouette echoes the Bvlgari Man family in a deep green-tinted glass with a brushed metallic cap, signalling the woody focus. Who it's for Bvlgari Man Wood Essence suits men who like clean, woody-aromatic fragrances with a softly green-and-citrus opening — wearers of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Hermès Terre d'Hermès, or Issey Miyake Wood & Wood, who want a polished Italian alternative. Versatile across spring, autumn and cooler summer days; works in office, smart casual and dinner contexts. How to wear it Spray onto pulse points — chest, sides of the neck, inside of the wrists — from around 15cm. Two to three sprays for daytime; build up gently for longer evening wear. Apply over an unscented body lotion to extend longevity, particularly on dry skin.
