Burberry Brit Sheer Eau de Toilette is the lightest, most luminous reading of the Brit fragrance line — composed by perfumer Emilie Coppermann. A fresh fruity-floral, it opens with lychee, yuzu, pineapple leaf and mandarin, drifts into a soft heart of pink peony, peach blossom and pear, and settles onto a clean base of white musk and white woods. Houses in the recognisable embossed-check Burberry flacon — the daytime side of the Brit line. About Burberry Founded in Basingstoke in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, the house is best known for inventing gabardine fabric and the trench coat — references that show up throughout its product design, from the famous house check to the engraved fragrance bottles. The Brit line, anchored by the original 2003 EDP, has produced multiple flankers — Brit, Brit Sheer, Brit Rhythm — that extend the signature DNA into different registers.
