The Bulkhead Drain Plug with a BSP thread male outlet is a versatile and durable connector designed for various applications in water management systems. Crafted from strong, long-lasting plastic, this plug ensures longevity and reliable performance. The nominal size of the plug is 1” BSP, which refers to the British Standard Pipe thread size. While this size is commonly used, it's important to note that the actual measurements in millimetres will differ, as BSP sizing is nominal and not an exact representation of the physical dimensions. This standardised thread offers wide compatibility with other BSP-threaded products, such as valves, hose pipe adaptors, or taps, making it a highly adaptable component for various setups. The plug features a secure nut design, allowing for easy and firm fastening to ensure stability and prevent accidental disconnections. To further enhance its leak-proof capabilities, the plug comes with two nylon washers that create a tight seal when installed. This makes it ideal for use at the bottom of a container as a drain by attaching a valve to the BSP thread or as an inlet on the side of a container by connecting a hose pipe adaptor to a garden water outlet. Whether you’re setting up a water butt or another container, this Bulkhead Drain Plug offers a reliable solution for your plumbing needs.
