The Xport NO3 Plate is an ultra‑activated denitrification plate media engineered for marine and hard freshwater aquariums with pH levels of 7.5 or above. This high‑performance media offers exceptional surface area and porosity, promoting efficient bacterial colonisation to reduce nitrate, phosphate and dissolved organics. This listing includes one plate in slightly damaged/broken condition, as shown in the photo, and it comes with the original box. Key Features: Ultra‑activated plate media with elemental sulfur for enhanced denitrification performance Extremely high porosity and useable surface area for bacterial growth Provides huge amounts of anaerobic surface area to support efficient nitrate reduction Includes aragonite to help buffer pH at the bacteria level and prevent acid buildup Reduces phosphate and dissolved organics alongside nitrate reduction Water‑wicking porosity helps media stay wet when drained, maintaining bacterial viability after equipment failure Suitable for marine and hard freshwater aquariums with pH ≥ 7.5 This plate media delivers significant surface area for denitrifying bacteria and additional benefits in nutrient control. Despite being slightly damaged, it retains its functional properties and is ideal for aquarium systems needing efficient nitrate management. Specifications: Approximate dimensions: 9" × 8" × 1.5" (hand cast; sizes vary slightly) Surface area: ~125,000 sq ft useable per plate Surface area per litre: over 71,000 sq ft (6,596 sq m) Condition: Slightly damaged/broken (see photo) Includes original packaging/box
