PhosCore is an advanced phosphate and silicate removal media designed to help aquarists achieve cleaner, healthier water with minimal effort. By combining the proven nutrient-removal capabilities of aluminium oxide and granular ferric oxide (GFO), PhosCore rapidly targets excess phosphate and silicate before they can contribute to nuisance algae growth and declining water quality. Its highly porous structure provides a large active surface area for maximum adsorption, while the durable media resists breakdown during use, helping to deliver consistent, long-lasting performance. Suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums, PhosCore is an effective solution for maintaining low nutrient levels and creating a healthier environment for fish, corals and aquatic plants.Key Features Rapidly removes phosphate and silicate from aquarium water Advanced blend of aluminium oxide and granular ferric oxide (GFO) Helps reduce nuisance algae and improve water clarity Highly porous structure maximises adsorption capacity Durable media resists physical degradation Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums Easy to use in most filtration systems Supports long-term aquarium stability and water quality Available Sizes 640g 1280g Ideal For Reef aquariums Marine fish-only systems Freshwater aquariums Aquariums experiencing phosphate or silicate issues Reducing algae outbreaks and maintaining low nutrient levels Directions for Use Rinse thoroughly before use. Place in an area with good water flow, avoiding excessive tumbling. Suitable for canister filters, media chambers, box filters and trickle filters. Use a filter media bag where appropriate. Dose approximately 50g per 200 litres of saltwater or 400 litres of freshwater. Test phosphate and silicate levels after four days. Replace when levels rise above 0.02 mg/L. Whether you're combating persistent algae growth or maintaining a thriving reef aquarium, PhosCore provides fast, effective nutrient control you can rely on. Its dual-action formula and long-lasting performance make it an essential addition to any filtration system focused on achieving outstanding water quality.
