Product Specifications Material: FDA-compliant, food-safe, non-toxic (USA-made) Weight: 9.5 ounces Design: Shallow tray with Baja pattern and raised ridges Color: Light blue Size: 8" diameter x 1.5" deep Capacity: Holds 1.5 cups Origin: Made in USA Care: Dishwasher safe (top rack), freezer safe Best for: All dog sizes, flat-faced breeds, fast eaters, puppies, senior dogs Uses: Slow feeding, enrichment, anxiety relief, treat dispensing, puzzle feeding, lick mat How to Use As a Slow Feeder Bowl: Spread your dog's regular kibble or wet food across the Baja pattern. The raised ridges create a puzzle-like feeding experience that forces dogs to eat slowly and work for their food, preventing gulping and improving digestion. As a Lick Mat: Spread peanut butter, yogurt, pureed fruits, or wet food across the pattern for extended licking enrichment. The shallow design and intricate Baja pattern maximize licking time. As a Frozen Treat: Fill with your dog's favorite spreadable treats and freeze for 2-3 hours to create a long-lasting cooling activity that's perfect for hot days, crate training, or calming anxious dogs. As a Puzzle Feeder: Scatter kibble or small treats across the pattern to create a foraging challenge that engages your dog's natural scavenging instincts and provides mental exercise. Why Choose the Baja Design eTray? Unlike deep slow feeder bowls that can frustrate flat-faced breeds or traditional lick mats that only work with spreadable treats, the eTray's shallow design accommodates all food types while providing the same slow-feeding benefits. The Baja pattern is specifically engineered to create an optimal feeding challenge—difficult enough to slow eating but not so complex that dogs become frustrated. Health Benefits: Slow feeding prevents dangerous bloating (gastric dilatation-volvulus or GDV), reduces choking risk, improves nutrient absorption, and promotes better digestion. When dogs eat too quickly, they swallow excess air which can lead to bloating, discomfort, and in severe cases, life-threatening stomach torsion. The eTray's raised ridges force dogs to eat at a natural, healthy pace. Mental Enrichment Value: The licking and foraging action releases endorphins that naturally calm anxious dogs, making mealtime a stress-relieving activity. Dogs need mental stimulation just as much as physical exercise, and the Baja pattern provides cognitive challenges that prevent boredom and reduce destructive behaviors like excessive barking, chewing, or digging. Perfect for Brachycephalic Breeds: Flat-faced dogs like pugs, bulldogs, French bulldogs, Boston terriers, and Pekingese often struggle with deep bowls due to their shortened snouts. The eTray's shallow design allows these breeds to access their food comfortably without straining their necks or faces. This reduces mealtime stress and prevents the breathing difficulties that can occur when flat-faced dogs struggle with deep bowls. Versatile Enrichment Tool: Use the eTray for regular meals, as a calming lick mat during grooming or vet visits, as a treat dispenser for training rewards, or as a puzzle feeder to challenge your dog's problem-solving skills. The shallow design makes it accessible for puppies learning to eat, senior dogs with mobility issues, and brachycephalic breeds that struggle with traditional bowls. One product, multiple uses—exceptional value. Beautiful Baja-Inspired Design: The intricate pattern is inspired by the natural beauty of Baja, Mexico. The light blue color and flowing design add aesthetic appeal to your home while providing functional feeding benefits. Unlike plain slow feeders, the Baja eTray is beautiful enough to leave out as part of your home decor. Easy Care & Durability: The FDA-compliant material is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning (top rack recommended) and freezer safe for frozen treat preparation. The durable construction withstands daily use, and the non-slip base keeps the tray stable during enthusiastic eating or licking sessions. Premium USA Quality: Every Baja Design eTray is manufactured in the USA using FDA-compliant, food-safe materials.
