Club: Atletico Madrid Year: 2004/05 Brand: Nike Jersey Type: Home Size: S Player Name: Fernando Torres Chest length (cm): 51Shirt length (cm): 70 Condition: 8/10 History: Atlético Madrid’s 2004/05 season was another year of underachievement despite a talented squad. Under César Ferrando, the team struggled for consistency, often lacking goals and creativity. Fernando Torres remained the standout performer as captain, but support around him was limited. Atlético finished 11th in La Liga, far from European qualification. Their Copa del Rey run ended in the quarter-finals. Despite defensive solidity at times, the campaign was defined by missed opportunities, ultimately leading to Ferrando’s dismissal at season’s end. Fernando Torres rose from Atlético Madrid prodigy to global star, becoming a prolific striker known for pace and clinical finishing. A hero at Liverpool, he later won major honours at Chelsea, including the Champions League. Torres also led Spain’s golden generation, scoring decisive goals at Euro 2008 and Euro 2012.
