Diaphragm and Valve Replacement for Aeration Compressors The Atlantic Water Gardens rebuild kit for the TPD87R6 compressor provides the diaphragm, valve discs, and gaskets required to fully rebuild this air compressor used in TPD-series pond aeration cabinets. Rather than replacing the entire compressor unit when output drops or noise increases, a full rebuild using this kit restores the compressor to like-new performance at a fraction of the replacement cost. Rebuild vs. Replace — When It Makes Sense Compressor rebuild kits are cost-effective when the motor and housing are in good condition but the diaphragm or valve surfaces have worn. The TPD87R6 is designed to be field-rebuildable — Atlantic Water Gardens provides this kit to support long-term maintenance of the compressor rather than forcing complete unit replacement. A successful rebuild typically returns full output and quiet operation immediately. Rebuild kits are the preferred approach for professional installers maintaining multiple aeration systems across a client portfolio in Canada.
