The Atlantic Water Gardens Aquarius Universal 1400 replacement impeller is the OEM service part for the Oase Aquarius Universal 1400 statuary and fountain pump. A degraded or fouled impeller is the most common cause of reduced pump output in submersible fountain pumps — scale deposits, algae accumulation, and physical wear gradually impair the blade geometry and clearances that produce rated flow. Replacing the impeller with this factory-matched part restores the 1400 to its full-rated performance. When to Replace The Aquarius 1400 impeller should be inspected seasonally as part of routine pump servicing. Signs that replacement is due: noticeably reduced spray height or flow volume at the fountain nozzle; audible grinding or scraping noise from the pump motor; white or grey mineral deposits caking the impeller blades despite cleaning. If cleaning with a dilute acid solution does not restore flow, replacement is the correct next step. Installation Disassemble the pump to expose the impeller chamber, following the Oase Aquarius 1400 service guide. Remove the worn impeller from the motor shaft and press the new impeller firmly into position until fully seated. Reassemble and test for restored flow before returning the pump to service.
