Replacement Wet-End Housing for the SLD 5000-9000 Pump The Aquascape Water Chamber with Gasket for SLD 5000-9000 is the factory wet-end housing assembly for the Aquascape Smart Logic Drive 5000-9000 GPH adjustable flow pond pump. This larger chamber fits the SLD 5000-9000 specifically; it is not interchangeable with the SLD 2000-5000 version. A cracked chamber or degraded gasket causes external leaks and reduced pump output on the higher end of the 5,000 to 9,000 GPH operating range. OEM Housing for the High-Flow SLD Range The SLD 5000-9000 operates at higher flow rates and internal pressures than the 2000-5000 model, and the water chamber is sized and moulded accordingly. A non-specification replacement housing can create pressure imbalances across the impeller that reduce efficiency and stress the motor over time. The factory assembly ensures the chamber dimensions match the pump's design tolerances across the full operating range. Specification Value Compatible With Aquascape SLD 5000-9000 adjustable flow pond pump Component Water chamber (wet-end housing) and gasket Pump Flow Range 5,000 to 9,000 GPH (18,925 to 34,065 LPH) Material Engineered thermoplastic housing, EPDM gasket How to Use Unplug the pump and remove it from the pond. Refer to the SLD 5000-9000 service manual to locate the water chamber fasteners and disassembly sequence. Remove the old chamber and gasket, and clean the mating surface before installing the new gasket. Seat the new chamber and confirm the gasket is aligned evenly around the entire perimeter before securing the fasteners. Submerge and run the pump briefly before confirming full flow is restored across the operating range. Ideal for SLD 5000-9000 pumps with visible external leaks at the casing seam or flow output that drops consistently below the rated minimum even after impeller cleaning.
