Replacement Clip Kit for the Aquascape UltraKlean 2000/3500 Pressure Filter The Aquascape UltraKlean 2000/3500 Pressure Filter Replacement Clip Kit provides the retaining clips that secure the filter housing lid to the main body of the UltraKlean 2000 and 3500 pressure filter units. Clips can crack or become brittle after prolonged UV exposure and freeze-thaw cycling, leading to housing seal failures and water bypassing the filter media. Restore the Housing Seal Before It Fails Completely A pressure filter housing that does not clip shut properly loses the pressurised flow that drives water through the media bed efficiently. Cracked or missing clips allow water to route around the lid seal and bypass filtration, reducing water clarity without any obvious pump or media problem. Replacing the clips at the first sign of cracking prevents the issue from developing into a full seal failure mid-season. Spec Value Compatible With Aquascape UltraKlean 2000 and 3500 Pressure Filter units Kit Contents Replacement retaining clips Material UV-stable structural plastic How to Use Shut down the pump and release any residual pressure from the filter housing before opening. Remove and discard the damaged clips. Fit the replacement clips into the lid retaining channels and confirm they engage the housing body securely. Restart the pump and inspect the lid seal for leaks under operating pressure. Replace clips annually during spring startup inspection as preventive maintenance. Ideal for UltraKlean 2000 and 3500 pressure filter owners who notice lid clips cracking or showing UV degradation and want to prevent a mid-season housing seal failure.
