Large-Scale Stacked Slate Sphere, 72-Inch Diameter The Aquascape Stacked Slate Sphere 72" Dia (1.83 m) is a grand-scale decorative sphere with a stacked slate finish, designed for estate gardens, commercial landscape installations, and large outdoor spaces where a sculptural water feature element needs to be visible and impactful across a wide open area. Water typically flows from an outlet at the top and sheets down the sphere's textured surface into a surrounding basin. Sculptural Scale for Grand Garden and Commercial Settings At 72 inches in diameter, this sphere is a landmark feature that functions as the primary design focal point of any space it occupies. The stacked slate texture and multi-tone stone finish read convincingly as natural stone even at close viewing distance, while the sheer size creates the visual weight that only a piece at this scale can deliver in a large landscape. Spec Value Diameter 72" (1.83 m) Material UV-resistant resin composite, stacked slate finish Water Function Surface flow from top outlet into surrounding basin Basin Required separately for water recirculation How to Use Position on a reinforced, level surface over or adjacent to a collection basin. Route pump discharge to the sphere's internal water supply fitting. Fill the basin and start the pump. Adjust pump flow rate for the desired water sheet coverage across the sphere's surface. Drain the basin before hard freeze each fall and inspect the sphere for any freeze-thaw cracking at the beginning of each season. Ideal for resort gardens, large commercial courtyard installations, estate landscape features, and public spaces where a 72" diameter stacked slate sphere serves as the centrepiece water feature of the design.
