Decorative Rock Lid to Conceal the Signature Series 400 and 1000 Skimmer The Aquascape Signature Series 400/1000 Pond Skimmer Faux Rock Lid is a moulded stone-finish cover that replaces the plain plastic lid on the Signature Series 400 and Signature Series 1000 pond skimmers. The lid sits at grade level and blends the skimmer access point into the surrounding pond edge rock work so the skimmer is not visually identifiable from the pond viewing area. A Finished Look Where the Skimmer Meets the Edge A pond skimmer sits at the water's edge with its lid at or slightly above grade, making it one of the most visually prominent mechanical components of the feature. The faux rock lid mimics the texture and colour of natural fieldstone, allowing it to blend with the surrounding edge boulders and gravel without drawing attention to the equipment access point below. The lid still lifts for normal basket emptying and filter mat service. Specification Value Compatible With Aquascape Signature Series 400 and Signature Series 1000 pond skimmers Material Moulded thermoplastic with stone texture finish Installation Drop-in replacement for existing skimmer lid Finish Natural stone appearance for blending with pond rock work How to Use Remove the existing plain lid from the skimmer by lifting it free. Drop the faux rock lid into the lid seat on the skimmer housing and confirm it sits level and stable. Position surrounding edge stones to overlap the lid edge slightly for a natural, integrated look. The lid lifts free for basket emptying and filter mat service without tools. Ideal for Signature Series 400 and 1000 pond skimmer owners upgrading the visual finish of their pond edge, and for professional pond builders who want a polished, rock-integrated look at the skimmer location.
