Heavy-Duty Geotextile Rock Pad, 3.28' x 98.43' Roll Aquascape Rock Pad is a dense, non-woven geotextile fabric used under rock and gravel in pond and waterfall installations to protect the liner from puncture and provide a stable base that does not shift over time. The 3.28' x 98.43' (1 m x 30 m) roll gives you a continuous run for stream beds, waterfall cascades, or any application where pre-cut sheets would require multiple seams. Why It Matters Rock placed directly on a rubber pond liner concentrates weight on small contact points, and sharp edges eventually abrade through the liner. Rock Pad distributes that load and cushions the contact surface, extending liner life significantly. The geotextile also prevents fine silt and sediment from migrating downward through gravel into the liner layer, which keeps the base material stable under heavy rock and foot traffic. Specification Value Size 3.28' x 98.43' (1 m x 30 m) roll Total Area Approx. 323 sq ft (30 m²) Material Heavy-duty non-woven geotextile Sold As Single roll; cut to length on site Compatible With Rubber and EPDM pond liners, waterfall installations How to Use Unroll across the liner surface after the liner is set, trimming to shape with scissors or a utility knife. Overlap sections by 4" to 6" (10 to 15 cm) where coverage must extend beyond a single roll width. Set rock and gravel on top of the pad normally. The geotextile conforms to contours without bunching or shifting under rock weight. Ideal for professional and DIY pond, stream, and waterfall installations where rock or gravel is placed on rubber liner, and anywhere a continuous pad run is more efficient than assembling multiple pre-cut pieces.
