Replacement Pump Cartridge for the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System The Aquascape Replacement Smart Pond Dosing System Pump Cartridge is the factory-specification peristaltic pump module for the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System. The pump cartridge is the component that physically moves treatment liquid from the connected bottle to the pond in measured doses. Peristaltic pump cartridges have a finite service life because the flexible tubing inside compresses with every dose cycle; replacing the cartridge annually maintains dose accuracy. Annual Cartridge Replacement Maintains Dose Accuracy A worn peristaltic pump cartridge compresses less fluid per dose cycle than a fresh one, causing the dosing system to under-dose each treatment. Over weeks of cumulative under-dosing, the treatment effect diminishes without any visible sign from the system controls. Replacing the pump cartridge as a scheduled annual service item, rather than waiting for visible failure, keeps the dosing system delivering the full treatment volume it is set to dispense. Specification Value Compatible With Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System Component Peristaltic pump cartridge module Replacement Interval Annually or when dosing accuracy diminishes Material Flexible pump tubing and rigid cartridge housing Function Moves measured treatment doses from bottle to pond How to Use Disconnect the dosing system from power before servicing. Remove the existing pump cartridge by releasing the cartridge lock and pulling it free from the dosing system body. Discard the old cartridge. Insert the new cartridge into the pump bay with the arrow or alignment marker oriented as specified in the dosing system service guide. Lock the cartridge in place. Restore power and run two to three manual dose cycles to confirm the new cartridge delivers treatment at the expected flow rate before returning to automatic operation. Ideal for annual Smart Pond Dosing System maintenance, and for replacing pump cartridges that show visible cracking, tubing compression, or inconsistent dose delivery during operation.
