Straight Stacked Slate Wall Base for Water Feature Columns The Aquascape Large Straight Stacked Slate Wall Base is a ground-level foundation piece for wall-mounted water features that require a visually weighted base to anchor the display and conceal the pump or plumbing at the feature's base. The stacked slate texture and neutral grey-brown tones match the Aquascape stacked slate topper and mid-section pieces. Anchor the Feature at Ground Level A wall waterfall without a finished base looks incomplete, with pump tubing, the basin edge, and the wall's bottom course all visible in a way that detracts from the feature's overall appearance. The wall base covers the base zone, conceals mechanical components at ground level, and gives the installation a finished look from bottom to top. Sized to pair with the standard Aquascape stacked slate wall system. Spec Value Style Straight, wall base format Material UV-resistant resin composite, stacked slate finish Pairs With Aquascape stacked slate topper and mid-section pieces How to Use Set the base at ground level aligned with the wall feature above. Arrange tubing and pump components behind or within the base according to the water feature design. Fill any gaps between the base and the wall with sealant or mortar appropriate for outdoor stone features. Ensure the base does not obstruct pump intake or restrict recirculation flow. Connect the system and confirm full water circulation from basin to topper and back. Ideal for Aquascape stacked slate wall fountain installations where the base section completes the visual from ground level to topper and conceals the mechanical components that make the feature run.
