Heavy-Duty Aquatic Plant Pot, 12-Inch Diameter The Aquascape Heavy-Duty Aquatic Plant Pot 12" Dia (30.5 cm) is a mesh-sided container designed for submerging aquatic plants in a pond. The mesh sides allow water circulation around the root zone while keeping the growing medium contained, creating a stable planting unit that is easier to manage than loose substrate planting on the pond floor. Contained Planting That Simplifies Pond Management Plants potted in mesh containers can be lifted and repositioned without disturbing the pond floor, trimmed without reaching into substrate, and replaced individually without draining the pond. The 12" diameter suits marginal plants (irises, rushes, pickerelweed) and smaller water lilies in ponds up to approximately 2,500 gal (9,460 L). Heavy-duty construction handles the weight of saturated aquatic potting media without cracking or deforming. Spec Value Diameter 12" (30.5 cm) Material Heavy-duty mesh, UV-resistant Safe For Koi, goldfish, aquatic plants, wildlife Use With Aquascape Pond Plant Potting Media (AQ-89016) How to Use Line the pot with hessian burlap if the growing medium is very fine.
