Front-Spill Straight Stacked Slate Topper for Wall-Mount Water Features The Aquascape Front-Spill Straight Stacked Slate Topper is a decorative header piece that mounts at the top of a wall or post to create a sheet-flow cascade over a stacked slate surface. Water enters from the rear, fills the topper's internal channel, and flows evenly over the front edge, producing a thin, even curtain of water that falls down the wall face into a basin below. Clean Sheet-Flow Cascade Over a Natural-Texture Surface The straight format produces an even, flat cascade rather than a curved or channelled fall, which suits geometric wall features and contemporary outdoor designs. The stacked slate texture along the topper's front face adds dimensional visual interest as water sheets over it, catching light and breaking into small rivulets that sound like rain on stone. Mount at a height that gives the waterfall room to establish sheet flow before reaching the collection basin. Spec Value Style Straight, front-spill Material UV-resistant resin composite, stacked slate finish Water Connection Rear inlet for pump tubing connection Installation Wall mount, above collection basin How to Use Mount the topper on a wall or post above the collection basin at a height that allows a clear fall into the basin. Connect a submersible pump's discharge tubing to the rear inlet. Fill the basin and start the pump, adjusting the flow rate to achieve even sheet flow across the full width of the topper's front edge. Do not allow the basin to run dry as this will damage the pump and can cause the topper to crack from heat if recirculating air. Ideal for contemporary garden walls, courtyard water features, and decorative wall fountains where a straight stacked-slate header creates a clean, even sheet-flow cascade into a basin or pond below.
