Add an 18-Inch Stacked Slate Sphere to Any Water Feature The Aquascape Extra Small Stacked Slate Sphere (46 cm / 18 in) is a decorative resin sculpture designed to resemble a sphere constructed from stacked natural slate shims. It serves as a standalone ornamental focal point beside a pond or stream, or as a basin feature when used with the matching fountain kit. The compact 46 cm diameter suits smaller water features and garden beds without dominating the surrounding planting. Natural Slate Aesthetic Without the Weight or Fragility of Real Stone Natural stacked slate spheres and urns of this scale are extremely heavy, making placement and repositioning difficult. The Aquascape resin version replicates the layered slate texture convincingly while remaining light enough to reposition by one person and resistant to freeze-thaw cracking that would damage real stone over winter. The surface finish weathers gradually to an even more natural appearance over successive seasons outdoors. Specification Value Dimensions 46 cm (18 in) diameter Material Weather-resistant resin Appearance Stacked slate texture Use Decorative garden and water feature accent Fountain Compatible Yes, with matching fountain kit (sold separately) How to Use Position the sphere on a stable, level surface at the pond edge, in a planting bed, or on a patio where it will complement the surrounding planting or hardscape. For use as part of a fountain, pair it with the Aquascape Extra Small Stacked Slate Sphere 18-inch Fountain Kit. To clean, rinse with water and use a soft brush to remove algae or mineral deposits from the textured surface. Store or cover during the hardest winter months in climates with extended periods below freezing if the sphere will be water-filled. Ideal for water garden surrounds, patio accent displays, and small garden beds where a natural stone aesthetic is desired without the cost, weight, or fragility of real carved slate.
