Restore Leak-Free Operation to the Ext 12000 and Ext 18000 Pumps The Aquascape Ext Pump O-ring Kit is a complete set of factory replacement O-rings for Aquascape Ext 12000 and Ext 18000 external pond pumps. When the pump develops drips or seeps at the casing joints, volute covers, or inspection ports, degraded O-rings at these locations are typically the cause and this kit provides all the sizes needed for a complete O-ring service without sourcing individual O-rings by dimension. Complete O-ring Service in a Single Kit External pond pumps have multiple O-ring seals at different locations throughout the casing assembly. Replacing only the O-ring at a visible leak point while leaving other aged O-rings in place leads to subsequent leak repairs at short intervals. Replacing the full set of O-rings in a single service event, using this kit, ensures all dynamic and static seals are renewed simultaneously and extends the interval until the next O-ring service is needed. Specification Value Compatible With Aquascape Ext 12000 and Ext 18000 external pond pumps Kit Contents Complete set of casing, cover, and port O-rings Material EPDM or nitrile rubber (as specified per position) How to Use Shut down and isolate the pump. Drain the casing by opening the drain plug or disconnecting the inlet. Refer to the Ext pump service diagram in the manual to identify the location and size of each O-ring position. Remove each old O-ring from its groove using a soft plastic pick to avoid scratching the sealing surfaces. Lightly lubricate each new O-ring with a water-compatible silicone grease before installation. Seat each O-ring in its groove without twisting. Reassemble the pump and test for leaks after the first run before returning to full service. Ideal for scheduled annual O-ring service on Aquascape Ext 12000 and Ext 18000 external pond pumps, and for resolving any external drip or seep at casing or cover joints in existing pump installations.
