Extended Automatic Water Clarification for Larger Ponds Aquascape Clear for Ponds XT (1 gal / 3.78 L) is a triple-concentrated water clarifier and flocculant formulated for use with the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT. The 1-gallon container is the extended refill option for Clear for Ponds XT, suited to larger ponds, higher dosing frequencies, or pond professionals maintaining multiple XT-equipped installations. Cost-Effective Supply for High-Volume Clarification Needs Large koi ponds and highly stocked water gardens generate proportionally greater suspended particle loads from fish activity, feeding, and biological waste. These ponds benefit from higher clarifier doses or more frequent dosing cycles on the Smart Pond XT system. The 1-gallon container delivers that extended supply in a single container, reducing refill frequency and per-litre cost compared to the 64 oz size in high-demand applications. Specification Value Volume 3.78 L (1 gal) Concentration 3x triple-strength formula Formula Type Flocculant and water clarifier blend System Required Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT Safe For Koi, goldfish, aquatic plants, wildlife How to Use Install the 1-gallon container in the Smart Pond Dosing System XT and set the control panel position for your pond volume using the XT Setting Selector or dosing chart. The XT system doses automatically at the programmed frequency. For ponds with a chronic turbidity problem, start at a higher dosing frequency for the first three to four weeks, then reduce to a maintenance setting once baseline clarity is achieved. Ensure the mechanical filter is clean before starting the clarification programme for best particle capture results. Ideal for large koi ponds, professional water garden installations, and any Smart Pond XT installation where the 64 oz container of Clear for Ponds XT requires replacement more than twice per season.
