Automate Sludge Removal in Fountains Via the XT Dosing System Aquascape Clean for Fountains XT (1 gal / 3.78 L) is a triple-concentrated beneficial bacteria formula designed for use with the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT in outdoor fountain applications. The bacteria break down organic waste, biofilm, and algae-feeding nutrients that accumulate in fountain basins, bowls, and reservoir sumps, reducing manual scrubbing and extending the interval between full cleanouts. Automated Fountain Cleaning for Consistently Clear Water Outdoor fountains accumulate organic matter from leaves, bird droppings, algae, and mineral deposits rapidly during warm weather. Without a consistent bacteria treatment, this organic load fuels algae growth and creates visible slime on fountain surfaces. Clean for Fountains XT dosed by the Smart Pond XT system delivers bacterial cleaning at a set frequency, maintaining a lower organic load in the basin continuously rather than reacting to visible problems after the fact. The 1-gallon container provides an extended supply for larger fountain basins or high-frequency dosing schedules. Specification Value Volume 3.78 L (1 gal) Concentration 3x triple-strength formula Formula Type Heterotrophic beneficial bacteria blend System Required Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT Application Outdoor fountains and decorative water features How to Use Install the 1-gallon container in the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT and route the discharge tube to deliver into the fountain basin near the pump intake or highest-flow area. Set the control panel position using the Aquascape XT Setting Selector for your fountain basin volume. The XT system doses on the programmed schedule. Increase dosing frequency during warm weather when organic loading is highest, and reduce or suspend during winter when the fountain is drained and stored. Ideal for outdoor decorative fountains, patio wall fountains, large urn features, and commercial entryway water features using the Aquascape Smart Pond Dosing System XT where regular manual cleaning is impractical.
