Replace the Discharge Tubing on Your Automatic Dosing System The Aquascape Automatic Dosing System Discharge Tubing Kit is a factory replacement tubing set for the Aquascape automatic pond dosing system. The discharge tubing routes treatment product from the dosing unit to the point of delivery in the pond or filter, and replacement is required when the tubing becomes kinked, cracked, or occludes with mineral buildup. Maintain Accurate Delivery of Treatment Products Dosing system accuracy depends entirely on the discharge tubing running clear and unobstructed. Kinks in the tubing cause partial blockages that result in under-dosing, while micro-cracks allow air to enter the line and disrupt the siphon action. Replacing the tubing at the first sign of degradation ensures the dosing system continues to deliver treatment products precisely at the set volume and frequency. Specification Value Compatible With Aquascape automatic pond dosing systems Function Replacement discharge tubing Material Flexible pond-grade tubing How to Use Turn off the dosing unit before replacing the tubing. Remove the old tubing from both the dosing unit outlet and the delivery point in the pond or filter. Install the replacement tubing from the kit, routing it to avoid sharp bends or contact with hard edges that could cause future kinking. Secure the tubing ends at both the dosing unit and delivery point using the retaining fittings. Prime the dosing unit per the manufacturer's instructions before restarting. Inspect the tubing quarterly for kinking, cloudiness, or algae growth inside the line. Ideal for Aquascape automatic dosing system installations where the existing discharge tubing has become kinked, cracked, or biologically fouled after an extended service period.
