Maximise High-Volume Flow With a Fresh AquaSurge 5000 Impeller The Aquascape AquaSurge 5000 (G2) Impeller Kit is a factory-specification replacement impeller assembly for second-generation AquaSurge 5000 submersible pond pumps, Aquascape's highest-output submersible model. When the 5000's flow drops measurably in a large pond or waterfall system, replacing the impeller with this OEM kit is the most efficient and cost-effective path to full restoration. OEM Restoration for the Most Powerful AquaSurge The AquaSurge 5000 G2 moves 18,927 LPH (5,000 GPH) at zero head, making it the pump of choice for large koi ponds, broad waterfalls, and long stream channels requiring rapid water turnover. Any degradation in impeller performance is amplified at this flow rate, making a worn impeller more consequential here than on smaller pump models. This G2 impeller kit ensures the pump returns precisely to its original hydraulic specification. Specification Value Compatible Pump Aquascape AquaSurge 5000 (G2) Flow Rating 18,927 LPH (5,000 GPH) Kit Contents G2 impeller, shaft pin, O-ring Fit Type OEM direct replacement How to Use Remove and unplug the AquaSurge 5000. Open the casing and expose the impeller. Remove the worn impeller assembly. Fit the replacement impeller from the kit onto the magnetic shaft, ensuring complete engagement. Install the new O-ring in the groove. Reassemble the casing and test the pump in a water-filled container, monitoring flow rate at the discharge and checking for vibration. Return to service once output matches expectations. Ideal for maintaining AquaSurge 5000 G2 pumps in large professional pond builds, koi ponds above 19,000 litres (5,000 gal), and premium waterfall and stream installations.
