Rebuild Your AquaSurge 4000 With an OEM Impeller The Aquascape AquaSurge 4000 (G2) Impeller Kit is a factory-specification replacement impeller assembly for second-generation AquaSurge 4000 submersible pond pumps. A worn impeller in a 4,000 GPH (15,141 LPH) pump produces a significant and immediately noticeable reduction in waterfall height, stream velocity, and pond turnover rate; this OEM kit restores the pump to its rated output efficiently. Precision Impeller for High-Volume Pond Circulation The G2 AquaSurge 4000 delivers high flow at relatively low head heights, making it ideal for wide, shallow waterfalls and high-flow streams. Its impeller geometry is optimised for this duty profile, and the G2 revision improved efficiency over the original series. Replacing the impeller with the OEM G2 kit maintains that efficiency rather than reverting to the original pump's performance characteristics. Specification Value Compatible Pump Aquascape AquaSurge 4000 (G2) Flow Rating 15,141 LPH (4,000 GPH) Kit Contents G2 impeller, shaft pin, O-ring Fit Type OEM direct replacement How to Use Remove and unplug the pump. Open the pump housing by releasing the casing clips. Remove the worn impeller from the magnetic shaft. Install the new impeller from the kit, seating it fully against the shaft pin. Replace the O-ring. Reassemble the casing and test in a water container for two to three minutes, monitoring for vibration and confirming output at the discharge. Return to service once normal flow is confirmed. Ideal for restoring AquaSurge 4000 G2 pumps in large water garden skimmers, koi pond circulation systems, and wide-weir waterfall installations after two to four seasons of continuous operation.
