Aquaforest Reef Salt + Plus is formulated to support the growth and vitality of coral colonies in reef aquariums. This advanced reef salt provides elevated levels of alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, effectively supplying the ionically balanced key macronutrients essential for sustaining nutrient-demanding corals. Coral growth and coloration thrive when continuously supported by these macronutrients, crucial in closed ecosystem aquariums where these elements are rapidly consumed. For aquarists not dosing microelements individually, regular water changes with Reef Salt + help maintain a balanced ratio of elements, promoting the overall health and immunity of corals. The product is particularly suitable for aquariums fully stocked with LPS and SPS corals, offering a rich composition that minimizes the need for additional dosing corrections. Years of focused research on coral growth variations have informed the specialised formulation of Reef Salt + to cater to the needs of fully stocked tanks, ensuring a stable and thriving marine environment. By integrating Reef Salt + into routine water changes, aquarists can support natural photosynthesis processes, enhance skeletal construction, and optimise ionic exchange—key aspects of healthy reef maintenance.
