The Aqua Medic Refill System 2.0 provides an easy and safe solution for automatically replacing evaporated water in freshwater and marine aquariums. By maintaining a stable water level, it helps ensure consistent salinity and water parameters, reducing daily maintenance effort. The system permanently monitors the water level using a reliable, maintenance-free reed sensor with an integrated delay circuit. This prevents false triggering caused by surface movement, ensuring accurate and stable operation. When the water level drops, evaporated water is automatically replenished. A variable sensor holder allows flexible adjustment to suit different water levels in filter tanks or sumps. Multiple safety features are built in, including dry-running protection for the refill pump with optical and acoustic alarms, as well as a warning for low water levels in the refill reservoir. Installation and maintenance are straightforward thanks to plug-in cable connections with protection against unintentional disconnection. The system also includes a safety shutdown circuit that activates in the event of a defective level sensor. Operating on safe 12 V low voltage, the Refill System 2.0 is supplied with a wide-range transformer for reliable everyday use.
