American Outdoor Grill (AOG) 36" L-Series Built-In Gas Grill with Lights The American Outdoor Grill (AOG) 36" L-Series Built-In Gas Grill with Lights (Model: 36LBT) is an estate-tier, high-capacity outdoor cooking head manufactured in the USA by RH Peterson (the parent engineers behind Fire Magic). Tailored for custom backyard luxury islands, the L-Series updates AOG’s classical platform by introducing a 12V electronic infrastructure that powers internal halogen lights and electronic push-button ignition. Constructed entirely from premium, commercial-grade 304 series stainless steel, this 36-inch flagship model provides an expansive grilling footprint designed for large gatherings, night-friendly cooking, and architectural permanence. Performance Engineering & Key Features High-Output Three-Burner System: Driven by three advanced, commercial-grade 304 stainless steel linear burners pumping out an impressive 16,000 BTUs each, generating a robust 48,000 BTUs of primary cooking power. This heavy-duty system allows for precise temperature adjustments and uniform distribution across the deep firebox. Dual Interior Halogen Lighting: The distinguishing hallmark of the L-Series is its integrated twin 12V halogen lighting loops recessed cleanly inside the firebox. Controlled via an exterior stainless steel push-button switch, these lights completely illuminate the cooking surface for effortless, accurate food assessment during evening and nighttime grilling. Electronic Push-Button Ignition: Replaces the mechanical Piezo turn-clicks with a smooth, electronic mains-powered multi-spark ignition system. Simply press down on the control knob or ignition switch to throw an immediate sequence of high-velocity sparks for fast, reliable lighting. Patented Diamond Sear™ Grids: Outfitted with AOG's signature heavy-duty solid 304 stainless steel Diamond Sear cooking grates. Featuring flat, polished top ridges rather than standard round rods, this design increases direct meat-to-metal contact by over 40%. This transfers thermal mass significantly faster, accelerating caramelization for crispier crust development and deep, professional steakhouse sear marks. Infrared Rotisserie Backburner System: Standard configurations include an integrated rear 12,000 BTU infrared rotisserie backburner. Paired with a complete heavy-duty motorized rotisserie kit (including a hex spit rod, counter-balance weights, and 4-prong adjustable meat forks), it enables effortless restaurant-tier slow roasts on your patio. Stainless Steel Vaporizer Panels: Positioned directly above the main burners are heavy-gauge stainless steel flavor grids / flame tamers. These panels distribute heat evenly across the entire grid while instantly vaporizing falling meat juices back into authentic, smoke-infused barbecue flavor while subduing aggressive flare-ups. Single-Piece Dual-Lined Hood: Built with a beautiful, seamless double-layered stainless steel hood with a contoured face and a sleek satin finish. This insulated structural dome works like a convective oven to retain massive internal heat during sub-zero winter cooking while fully protecting the outer steel from cosmetic amber heat discoloration. Polished Analog Telemetry: Features a custom-designed, large analog dial thermometer with a polished stainless steel decorative bezel centered on the front face of the hood, allowing you to accurately track conditions up to 1000°F without raising the lid.
